French Tech Hub Seoul’s upcoming event on May 30th-31st will be a bridge for startups between Korea and France.  Korea is known for being one the fastest growing tech startup hubs in the world.  However France is also on the rise and are looking to come to Seoul to share information as well as develop partnerships with Startups. The French startup ecosystem has had an amazing rise, helped by a new generation of engineers, designers, entrepreneurs, investors, and many other talented individuals. Now they are considered leading sectors in Big Data AI, IOT, BioTech/MedTech, and FinTech.  They represented 30% of startups at CES 2016.

French Tech Hubs are all around the world from San Fransisco to Moscow to Japan and now finally to Seoul thanks to French President Hollande and South Korean President Park who adopted an action plan to develop a bilateral partnership.  Then president Hollande announced the creation of a French Tech Hub in Seoul in 2016.

French Tech Seoul will merge French entrepreneurs with the Korean startup ecosystem with the overall goal of providing visibility and initiatives which supports startups.  Now Korean will have a French/Korean tech community that will be based in Seoul.  It will bring together French and Korean entrepreneurs, incubators, public and private companies, and most of all investors!  This will be a great entry point for Korean startups that are interested in expanding to the French market or finding other opportunities in France.  Now Korean startups will have the chance to expand their business in both the French and Korean ecosystems.  Here is a list of partners associated with French Tech Seoul.
