FIFTY FIFTY is a four-member Kpop girl group that made its debut under ATTRAKT Creative Group on November 18, 2022. The FIFTY FIFTY members have been in a legal battle with ATTRAKT recently. There were lawsuits and accusations that we will not go into detail here as it has not fully been settled. However, at the moment, Keena is the only original member as Saena, Sio, and Aran have been replaced. Keena has stated she tried to convince the other group members to file the lawsuit. Since the other members did not withdraw their lawsuits, ATTRAKT terminated their contracts and vowed to pursue legal action against the 3 former members.
It is highly likely that Saena, Sio, and Aran will be blacklisted from the industry and would end up being a very sad story of a group that had very high potential.
The FIFTY EP
Their first album was “The Fifty”. Their most successful viral song was Cupid which has over 146 million views on YouTube. Their official FIFTY FIFTY Official channel has over 1.5 million subscribers.
They were active on social media and created many reaction videos and choreography videos. They even made a Christmas special. However, what made them really appeal to the Kpop community was their ability to sing live. They performed many great live performances showing great vocals and choreography. As their fan base grew their fans started to call themselves hunnies which stands for hundred (50 + 50). Their group name stands for existing 50% in the real world and 50% in the ideal world at the same time.
FIFTY FIFTY Members – Breakdown
In late October of 2023, ATTRAKT stated they would reorganize FIFTY FIFTY centering around Keena, who was the only member to withdraw her lawsuit and return to the agency. They plan to recruit three new members and form a four-member group.
Keena (Only current member)
Keena was born on July 9, 2002. Her real name is Song Jakyung. She is the elder of the group and is the main rapper. She is also the sub-vocalist. Her favorite hobbies are eating delicious food.
Saena (Former FIFTY FIFTY Member)
Saena was born on March 12, 2004. Her real name is Jeong Sehyun. She is the rapper in the group. She is a very good dancer as she appeared on the KBS 2TVs Dancing High as part of Team Hoya with Jisung of NCT in 2018 at the age of 15. Besides rapping and dancing, she loves photography.
Sio (Former FIFTY FIFTY Member)
Sio was born on October 6, 2004. Her real name is Jeong Jiho. She is the main vocalist of the group and the lead dancer. She loves reading and writing and wanted to be an author when she was young.
Aran (Former FIFTY FIFTY Member)
Aran was born on October 11, 2004. Her real name is Jeong Eunah. She is the youngest of the group. She is the lead vocalist and lead rapper.
