Netflix will also gain access to distribution rights to other Studio Dragon content that has already been produced.
Studio Dragon has also established a US office in early 2020. It has already started to collaborate with companies such as CAA (Creative Artists Agency), Skydance Media, and UCP (Universal Content Productions). Making Korean dramas in the US allows greater creative freedom. The reason is that in the US, writers/directors can push boundaries that they couldn’t in South Korea.
